Most deck problems start where nobody looks — the ledger, the posts, and the footings. Boards you can always replace. A ledger that was never flashed, or posts set on dirt instead of proper footings, is how a deck ends up sagging, pulling away from the house, or rotting from the inside out.

We build from the framing up: footings and posts set properly, the ledger flashed and fastened to the house the way it should be, then decking and rail on top. Composite or treated lumber — whichever suits the budget and how you actually plan to use it.
